Here at Evans Equipment, Inc., we focus on rebuilding our own machines so that we can ensure every item we have available to our customers is in top working order. We take our Caterpillar equipment down to the frame and fully rebuild every machine, essentially providing our customers with a piece of machinery that is in brand-new condition.
That isn’t to say that we never fix machinery for customers, but customer repairs aren’t something we take on often. Over the last decade, we have done two rebuilds for long-time customers, but we rarely work on machines we don’t own or that we didn’t sell.
If one of our customers contacts us and tells us that the machine we sold them needs a repair and is still under warranty, that becomes a top priority. At that point, we focus on getting it into the shop, fixing it, and getting it back to the owner ASAP.
While you will probably run into plenty of Caterpillar dealerships that rent out machinery they don’t own themselves, that’s not the case with Evans Equipment, Inc. We own every machine and part that we have in our inventory. After we purchase a machine, it comes to our heavy equipment maintenance shop and we break it down to the bare frame and rebuild everything from the ground up.
